Most recently, the CCI has been nearly overwhelmed with the arrival of hundreds more Afghan refugees, as part of the Government of Canada’s pledge to bring to our country 40,000 Afghans, who have been forced to flee the brutal Taliban regime. Granottier Council 2092 Owen Sound members, PGK Jim Cummings, PGK Bruce Muise and Chancellor Randy Gaudet recently attended a 5 pin bowling session of The Owen Sound and Area Special Olympics and presented a cheque in the amount of $5,000 ( proceeds from Radio Bingo ) which is aired weekly on local radio station CFOS since March 2021 . To date K of C/ 560 CFOS 560 Radio Bingo has raised over $90.000 for Grey-Bruce charities including: Canadian Mental Health Association Youth Programs , Special Olympics , Families for Autism and Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre
