Submitted by Ontario State Office Ontario State Council Congratulations to our new State Deputy, Bruce Poulin on his first official event, he was joined by our new State Chaplain, His Grace Marcel Damphousse. It was a great event, Parishioners gathered in Ottawa for the annual Mass and luncheon with His Grace The Most Rev. Marcel Damphousse at St. Clement Parish at the St. Anne Church on July 2, 2023. Submitted by Leo MayerSt. Benedict's Knights of ColumbusA 3rd Degree Exemplification Ceremony was held in District 61 in Sarnia involving the 5 KofC Councils in the District. 10 new members were inducted into the Order. 4th Degree members provide an Honour Guard. A Mass at Sacred Heart church was con-celebrated by Chaplain Fr. Brian Jane and 4th Degree Faithful Friar Fr. Jose Montepeque, followed by the Exemplification ceremony. The evening finished off with a social held in the parish Hall.
Submitted by Brother Hikmat Dandan Jesus the King Council 15045 Jesus the King Bingo Knights sponsored the "Father's Day Picnic" on Sunday June 18th, 2023 in Bruce Mills Golfview Site in Stouffville. They donated $750 for renting the Gazibo, buying the ceremonial cakes, and two $100 gift cards that were awarded to the oldest Father and the youngest father. The event was very successful. Upon the recommendation of the Knights of Columbus Ontario State Council to increase food bank donations, the Bingo Knights of Jesus the King also donated to Richmond Hill Food Bank, North York Harvest Food Bank, Daily Bread [...]
Submitted by Hikmat Dandan, State Director - Christian Refugee Relief Jesus the King Arab Christian View the Jerusalem Students 2023 graduates thanking their scholarship sponsors for supporting them in their academic years until their graduation. So far including this year, the Jerusalem Students scholarship program has 55 graduates. All graduates have gone into higher learning and hopefully will form successful Christian families that will grow to populate the Holy Land and strengthen the Christian presence. Submitted by Paul O'Neill Msgr. Paul J. Meyer Members of Msgr. Paul J. Meyer Council 4916 (Cambridge, Ontario) has always supported the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank. This year the food bank is particularly in need of funds. A local restaurant organized a "Dinner on The Grand" with all proceeds going to the Food Bank. Therefore Council 4916 purchased tickets for five couples to attend the dinner. At the June meeting the attendance draw awarded these to five lucky members.

Charbel EL-chaar, Pro-life Chairman Our Lady of Grace Council 6519 A monument in memory of lost, pre-born children was blessed on Rosary Sunday, May 28th, 2023, at the Marylake Shrine of Our Lady of Grace in King City, Ontario. The monument, donated through the efforts of the Knights of Columbus Our Lady of Grace Council 6519 (Aurora, Ontario), is meant to remember all children whose lives have ended due to abortion or miscarriage. This is a pastoral pro-life activity; It provides an appropriate place for all to grieve the loss of precious life and the mercy of God. [...]
On May 28th, Pieta Council 6026, in collaboration with Holy Cross Parish and the Holy Cross CWL, held their semi-annual Food Drive event at Georgetown’s Holy Cross Parish (Ontario). We collected and delivered food items weighing in at 4810 lbs and $962.75 in cash and cheques from the Parishioners for the Georgetown Food Basket. Thank you so much to all the parishioners who have supported this event. Thank you to the brother knights and their spouses who have helped and assisted with this event. It was very successful.
