Life Chain Sunday – Oct. 2, 2016, Submitted by GK Gino Di Pede of Ave Maria Council 9494 Ave Maria Council 9494 and St. Aidan’s Council 11332 joined forces on Oct 2 as they have done over the past 3 years to form a Life Chain at the intersection of Warden and Finch in Scarborough. 48 parishioners with 25% being members of the K of C took part with placards and 1st degree Rosaries in hand in peaceful protest against the abomination of abortion so prevalent in our society. The protest concluded with a prayer in the plaza parking lot led by Deacon Patrick Chan of St. Aidan’s along with a group photo. The collage of participants seen here will be shared at both parishes(Epiphany of Our Lord and St. Aidan) and was put together by SK Trisna Wijaya of Epiphany’s Ave Maria Council. Hopefully more knights and parishioners will join us next year.
