THE MELKITE CATHOLIC PATRIARCHATE SCHOOL 2017 GRADUATION IN THE HOLY LAND.
Without the continuous support of the JERUSALEM STUDENTS sponsors, many students would not probably have been able to graduate. The students of the Patriarchate School got outstanding results. With an average of 98.6% Nicola Abu Sa’da was the first place student in all of Beit Sahour’s schools, and fifth on the level of Bethlehem district. 8 more students scored above 90%. MS Sawsan, the school principal, thanked the Knights of Columbus for their wonderful support. In 2017, Jerusalem Students project transferred in Feb, C$ 10,000 to the school as a gift from one of the sponsors in honor of her late mother and father. In early June, the project transferred C$ 17,000 in sponsored tuition fees. In August another C$ 10,000 will be transferred. Including 2017, Jerusalem Students would have already transferred more than C$ 100,000 in sponsored tuition fees for more than 80 needy Christian students. Our Supreme Director SK Arthur Peters said “Let us all remember that it is not only about education but about preserving the Christian presence in the Holy Land”.
