The historic St. Mary’s Parish Hall, Kitchener was the scene of the Waterloo District Catholic School Board Foundation’s 11th Annual Bishop’s Banquet, May 18, in honour of Auxiliary Bishop, Most Reverend Daniel Miehm of Hamilton. Kitchener Knights of Columbus was highlighted as a major “Silver Level” sponsor of the event. The 4th Degree Honour Guard from Council 1504 ushered Bishop Miehm into the hall at the commencement of the festivities. A presentation by the Bishop and a silent auction rounded out the evening. Sponsorship proceeds, a portion of the ticket price and funds raised from the silent auction will continue to support the Faith Formation Programs in our Catholic Schools.
