The North Hastings Divine Mercy Council 7476 would like to thank & congratulate the staff & students from OLM Catholic School who participated in the 1st annual Keep Christ in Christmas Poster contest. 46 students from Grades 6, 7 & participated & staff narrowed the entries down to the top 3 from each Grade. A group of Knights then were given the difficult task to rank each Grade level into Gold, Silver & Bronze. Prizes were given out to the top three from each grade level before the Christmas Break by the Grand Knight. The posters were on display at the school until the Break & are now posted at Our Lady of Mercy Parish during the Christmas season on the windows of the family room.
In either option, we are not allowed to use names in keeping with Board procedures.
Throughout the early Christmas season the local Knights were also busy selling 60 local fresh cut Christmas Trees & Christmas cards. This work raised $2,000 for local charities & our parishes.
