Here is a captured moment to celebrate the fruits of community generosity and charity, Worthy Brother Knights of Columbus in Christ the King Council 12143, and those with us in Faith.

On Sunday, February 1, 2026 our Council held a cheque presentation ceremony at the end of the 11 a.m. Mass in the Cathedral Basilica, in which we presented a cheque for $3,250 to SK David Gelinas, Ontario State Deputy.

The amount represents the sum total of our 2025 Coats For Kids fundraising campaign, in which Knights in our Council collected money from our own ranks and appealed to a compassionate and generous congregation in November and December.

That money allowed Coats For Kids officials to buy a little more than 100 brand new winter coats for Hamilton-area children in families who cannot afford to buy them.

The presentation was made to celebrate and thank the generosity of our parishioners.

Our Chaplain, Rector David Wynen delivered a statement, then Grand Knight Michael-Allan Marion handed the cheque to State Deputy Gelinas.
