Blessed Frederic Ozanam (BFO) Council 17065 in Markham, ON made history by hosting our first-ever Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity on Jan 31, 2026 at St Patrick's Church, Markham.

We are glad to welcome 14 new Brother Knights from 4 councils under District 63: Council# 17065 (Blessed Frederic Ozanam), 7689 (St. Patrick), 5957 (Georges P. Vanier) and 10874 (St. Mark). Council Chaplain Ricardo Davis encouraged the new Brothers to aspire to be saints – by being the best versions of themselves. District Deputy Paul Laroque welcomed the new members by teaching them the Knight's salute, which in itself is a reminder that Jesus Christ is at the center of all things we do.

BFO 17065 is proud not only to add to our ranks, but also to perform and host an Exemplification ceremony for the very first time in Council history. This shows our Council's growth and bodes well for the future of our young council. Vivat Jesus!
