A letter I received from our Community Director

    Can you please pass this note on to all the members of council #755.
I would like to begin by thanking my fellow Brothers who assisted in making up the food baskets and delivering them;

On Saturday, December 13th, I picked up the groceries at Food Basics (Brookdale Ave. ), which was pre-ordered the week prior and brought them back to the council hall where, with the support of the team, we made up seven individual family baskets.
We received the seven family names from the two parishes which our council supports.

We were able to keep within the budget approved by the council, along with the food items which we also purchased for each family (seven $100.00 gift cards from Walmart where they could purchase a gift or two or any needed items from the pharmacy).

This was all possible by the support of the council and Mr. Pat Rennick at Food Basics on Brookdale Ave.

Budget was : $1500.
Plus         $ 388.02(left over from 2024)
Total :      $1888.02

Spent :           $1810.17
Left over for 2026 : $77.85
