Knights of Father J. Fergus Duffy Council #1454, through the Pilgrim Icon Program, received a replica of the renowned Sacred Heart of Jesus image, originally painted in 1767. While the original remains in Rome, this faithful reproduction personally blessed by Pope Francis is part of a global collection of icons traveling the world for veneration and prayer in parishes everywhere.

We are sincerely grateful to Fr. Piotr Jurzyk for graciously hosting the pilgrimage icon, and Fr. Saju Oreethaparambil, who extended this generosity by incorporating the icon into his service, October 19, 2025, at St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish, Hamilton, Ontario. Following the celebration, the icon will continue its spiritual journey across North America.
