Mary Mother of God Council 14446 of Oakville, were honoured to present our annual $10,000 Charity of the Year Award to our Parish's chapter of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. Their mission is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy. These volunteers serve over 100 families in our community providing monthly food baskets together with special drives at Christmas and at the beginning of each school year. Our Award will help with these good works and serve as a visible sign of our appreciation and support.
