On January 25, the same day as Robbie Burns Day, the members of Council #485 hosted a banquet dinner at the Westin Ottawa hotel where more than 200 people attended the celebration. It is a Jubilee Year for the Council, marking its 125th anniversary, and there were shortages of dignitaries from as far away as Prince Edward Island, North Bay and Oakville and Cornwall and many Council members in between. Next is the State Convention which will be held at the same location between April 25 and 27. Hope to see you there. Our State office has already begun accepting registrations.
