The Maharlika Council 7488 organized and held a mini retreat at St. Boniface Church on Sept 16 2023. The facilitator Fr. Peter Marr touched on several aspects on the challenges to the practice of Catholicity today. The event was open to parishioners as well and attended by 47 people. Some take away (redacted) reflections for sharing:

When we say Christ is the only way to Salvation, ecumenism is not a choice. We have to join our brothers and sisters who believe in Christ, all Christians (not just Catholics) to bring everyone to Him.
Despite what is happening in our society today, albeit the taking away of God’s role in our lives, our Mission remains the same from the day of Creation. Spread God’s Mercy and Compassion to all.
