Knights of St. Helen of the Cross Council 15999 set a goal of raising 5,000 pounds of non-perishable food to be donated to the local food banks in the Niagara Region. We began this back in September with a kick-off at St. Mark Meet & Greet Barbecue and then they all collected for the 12 Days of Christmas and of course the Lenten season. It gives me great pride to announce, we achieved that goal by collecting 5,599.6 pounds of food. This was distributed to Community Care of West Niagara and the Grimsby Benevolent Fund (no picture available).
