CHRISTIAN REFUGEE RELIEF DONATES TO 3 ORPHANAGES.
Our Lord Jesus is the loving father of all the orphans, and the Knights are chosen to take care of the fatherless. Orphans For Jesus initiative founded by Bro. Hikmat of Jesus The King Council 15045, features orphanages in the Middle East. This initiative made it easy for councils and parishioners to help orphans. Included already in the program are the following orphanages: Foyer de la Providence, Home of Peace, Our Lady of the Good Service Jabouleh Orphanage, Foyer De L’AMITIE Dar AlSadaka, Allepine Sisters Happy Childhood Home. More orphanages will be included in the future.
Christian Refugee Relief donated C$2000 for Foyer De L’AMITIE, C$1000 to Happy Childhood Home of Allepine Sisters, and $1000 to Foyer de la Providence. Special thanks to Chairman Bro. John Gideon who raised funds for the cause, to the Zahle Cultural Association members, St. Patrick’s Markham Council, Theresa Siok, Norma Manfrini, Bro. Greg Lamare, Anne Rolfe, Elizabeth Roy, Mark Zakaib, William Moran, Mary Lanthier Griffith, Bro. John and Portia Buquicchio, Bro. Paul Heuts, GK Kelvin Law, and Bro. Sean Young. Issue donations to Knights of Columbus Ontario Charity Foundation, write in the memo part, Orphans for Jesus & the name of the orphanage if you wish.
