Submitted by Ray Francoeur, Grand Knight St. Helen the Cross Congratulations to Mr. Peter Twardawa and Brother George Savage, together they raised over $900.00. They walked 4.5 miles. Brother George walked in memory of his son George Jr. who passed away from cancer on Sept. 22, 2014 at the young age 39. He was a Police Officer with Niagara Regional Police Service. Peter walked on behalf of the Rankin Cancer Family Organization. The Rankin Cancer Walk & Run had set a goal of raising $12 million dollars. To date they have received over $11.8 million.
