Submitted by Ray Francoeur, Grand Knight.St. Helen of the Cross On Tuesday February 20th, I visited the hospital to present our cheque to the Maternity Ward. I met with Mrs. Aimee Hilson, who is the Senior Development Officer at WLMH. She was extremely happy to receive our cheque and commented on how important these funds will be to supply the Newborn babies & Moms at time of discharge from the hospital with woolen caps, blankets, Panda blankets and start-up kits when they go home. Ontario State Advocate Henry Miller and Lynn Miller, Ordinandus Rev. During 2023/24 Deacon David has been completing the parish internship component of his priestly formation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (OLPH) in Toronto. Since then, it has expanded to more than 15 members and is led by two deacons and follows our new Cor initiative. Submitted by District Deputy, Roger Richard. St. Clement. March 14, 2024, St. Clement Council 17725, District 101, hosted an Exemplification of Charity, Unity and Fraternity at St. Theresa Parish. Eleven new members attended their Exemplification. Our State Deputy, Brother Bruce Poulin attended the Exemplification and took part of the Ceremony presenting the new members with their Rosaries.

ACSA Visit in Scarborough.

Submitted by Bruce Poulin. On March 6, Our State Deputy visited ACSA Community Food Centre in Scarborough where he met with the CEO of ACSA, Lee Soda. ACSA has partnered with the Knights of Columbus St Lawrence Martyr Council for the Coats for Kids campaign and Thanksgiving Food Drive, but the holistic services provided by ACSA suggest that the Knights could do more with them. Exploring new ways to help the community, through ACSA, was the main focus of the discussions. More to follow.

Also in attendance was our State Deputy. It was the first official visit by a State Deputy in that Council's history. Thank you to Grand Knight Robert Bentley and District Deputy #107, Dennis Wahking, for organizing and hosting the event.
