Submitted by Jose Luis RodriguezBlessed Frédéric OzanamBlessed Frédéric Ozanam is the founder the Society of Vincent de Paul and his feast day is on September 9. The Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Parish community celebrated his feast day on the weekend of September 7-8. The Knights assisted in handing out the bulletin and Blessed Frédéric Ozanam bookmarks as well as slices of cake for the enjoyment of the parish community. The Knights also provided an honor guard at the 12pm Sunday Mass to mark the special occasion.

We manage to sign up 34 Prospects. This is the first step towards establishing an University Council in Ontario.

Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation Bayshore Race

Submitted by Jim CummingsGranottierMembers of the Owen Sound Knights of Columbus, Granottier Council 2092 working a water and refreshment station at the annual “Bayshore Race”, a fund raising event in aid of The Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation. 414 runners and walkers participated raising close to $40,000, which will go towards the purchase of much needed medical equipment for the Owen Sound Regional Hospital. La célébration de la messe au cimetière pour les défunts a eu lieu le dimanche 25 août 2019. Très belle célébration présidée par l’abbé Michel Pommainville.

Submitted by Jesus The King Council 15045Jesus The King CouncilSt. Elijah feast which falls on 20th July was celebrated on Sunday 21st July mass in the Cathedral of The Transfiguration by the Jesus The King Melkite Catholic parish. The St. Elijah mass coincided with the visit of the Archbishop Emeritus of Jerusalem Most Reverend Joseph Jules Zerey who presided at the mass. This holy feast also coincided with the Priesthood Anniversary of Rev. Ibrahim El Haddad, the pastor of the parish. Strawberries and Ice Cream Charity Sale

Submitted by Nicholas QuadriniSt. Mark CouncilThe St. Mark Council 10874 recently held it's Strawberries and Ice Cream Charity Sale. The event took place over the Canada Day weekend at the annual Stouffville Strawberry Festival, an annual event which hosts vendors, charities, and festivities to celebrate Canada Day. The Council, alongside Circle 5486 and members of the St. Mark Parish community prepared the strawberries and sold them to members of the public on June 29th.
