The donation comes from proceeds of the Ontario State Knights of Columbus 50-50 Spring raffle for April, May, and June. The featured charity of the spring raffle was Food for Families and Food Banks. Council 5558 donation to defray cost of new roof

Submitted by Philippe Trottier, FS Luke Hart Council 5558 On July 16, 2022, District Deputy -Ontario District 66, Bruce Doucette, and Grand Knight of Luke Hart Council 5558, Wayne Mousseau, presented the cheque for three thousand dollars to Father Jesse to help defray the costs of the new roof for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ottawa, Ontario. To date, the parish has raised 21,000.00 dollars.

The truck was full with clothing and bedding items donated by the parishioners on the weekend masses (6 masses between 16-17 July'22), which will be distributed to the poor in our community.

The occasion was the presentation of a cheque for $6,224.00 for the Wheelchairs for Ukraine program. We thanked Worthy State Warden Henry for joining us for our Holy Hour happened on June 28. Helping Hands provided to St. Barnabas Kingdom Camp Youth BBQ appreciation night

Brother Knights prepared and served BBQ burgers, hot dogs and buns to approx. 100+ youths and to their parents/guardians. KOFC Safe Environment protocol was followed to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening.
