Bags of produce were delivered directly to 12 families in the local community and St. Francis Table took a truck load to cook and serve fresh to the homeless people in downtown Toronto.The Knights provided the boxes and manpower to collect and move the donated food. Initiated by Grand Knight - Thimothy O'Brien the event was well attended and created very good awareness about the council along with generating interest from some parishioners to join as members. Submitted by Jose Luis RodriguezBlessed Frédéric OzanamBlessed Frédéric Ozanam is the founder the Society of Vincent de Paul and his feast day is on September 9. The Blessed Frédéric Ozanam Parish community celebrated his feast day on the weekend of September 7-8. The Knights assisted in handing out the bulletin and Blessed Frédéric Ozanam bookmarks as well as slices of cake for the enjoyment of the parish community. The Knights also provided an honor guard at the 12pm Sunday Mass to mark the special occasion.

We manage to sign up 34 Prospects. This is the first step towards establishing an University Council in Ontario.

Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation Bayshore Race

Submitted by Jim CummingsGranottierMembers of the Owen Sound Knights of Columbus, Granottier Council 2092 working a water and refreshment station at the annual “Bayshore Race”, a fund raising event in aid of The Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation. 414 runners and walkers participated raising close to $40,000, which will go towards the purchase of much needed medical equipment for the Owen Sound Regional Hospital. La célébration de la messe au cimetière pour les défunts a eu lieu le dimanche 25 août 2019. Très belle célébration présidée par l’abbé Michel Pommainville.
