This was all part of putting their Faith in Action, under the Life pillar of the Knights service program. As a result of this project, the Knights accumulated over 100 baby needed item and $6187 in Walmart gift cards, monetary and Council donations. Mother Teresa’s “No Greater Love” movie

Clair Tipping Council 9235 showed Mother Teresa's "No Greater Love" movie to over 70 guests at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Brampton Ontario. Everyone enjoyed the movie, the popcorn and other treats.

Submitted by SK Yolando FernandesSt. Barnabas CouncilSt. Barnabas Council 13785 held its Spiritual Reflection Faith in Action program by having a Spiritual Lenten Men’s Retreat at St. Barnabas Parish, officiated by our Worthy Chaplain – Fr. Fraser McLaren on Sunday 19th March 2023. Our Council also extended the invite to TMIY men’s ministry who joined in our spiritual celebration. Fr. Fraser started off with a reflection on Lent by giving a spiritual speech for 30 minutes, followed by Holy Adoration in the church. During the Holy Adoration, Fr. Fraser and Fr. Council 9235 Mass and Devotions to Our Lady of Guadalupe

Clair Tipping Council 9235 Brother Knights of Council 9235 participated in a mass and devotions to Our Lady of Guadalupe at the St. Anthony of Padua Church in Brampton. The Brothers then served traditional Mexican treats and refreshments to the attendees.

Council 9235 Community Lenten Soup Day

Errol Fernandez from India (blue polo shirt) was among the attendees. He gave a resounding three-day retreat.

Knight’s Breakfast – with Special Olympics Flag Present

Submitted by Dale Tuepah Dr. J.F. Dunn Council 5153 Another successful breakfast, attended by over 45 parishioners at St. Mary's. We also had the Special Olympic Flag on hand for all to sign & support. The Special Olympics Flag was on hand courtesy of local Assembly 2783 WFN SK Mike Lalonde, at our Knight's Breakfast at St. Mary's hall in Carleton Place. Those in attendance had the opportunity to sign the flag, take pictures, support financially & of course enjoy a Hot breakfast hosted by the Knights of Council 5153.

Shrove Tuesday at St John School

Submitted by Ray Francoeur GK St. Helen of the Cross Our first ever attempt to host “Shrove Pancake Tuesday” was very successful with 18 volunteers consisting of brother Knights, Ladies from the CWL, friends, spouses and the assistance of several grade 8 students, made this all possible. The entire school enjoyed the golden delicious pancakes slathered in syrup. Principal Mr. David Forte was extremely pleased with our service and quality of food. Their contribution towards our ongoing “Bottle Drive” made a significant difference in reaching our new goal of purchasing 6 boxes of winter coats for the ever-growing list of needy children in our community.
