More than 110 people came to the event - a new record since the COVID lockdowns. Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyCouncil 11752On May 24, for the second consecutive year, the members of Council #11752 in Manotick held an eye glasses collection drive. In all, some 500 glasses were donated by the parishioners of St Leonard Church and local schools.. They will end up in Villa Marzo, Cordon Isabella, in Luzon North in the Philip[pines. Upon their arrival in North Luzon, the local Knights of Columbus Council, in partnership with a local optical clinic, will test the glasses and distribute them accordingly. Thank you to brother Rolando Lagmay for leading this effort.

Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyCouncil 10061St Gabriel's Council 10061 in Burlington hosted an Exemplification for District #62 on May 18. Eighteen candidates (from St. Paul the Apostle Church and St. Gabriel's Church) became regular members of the Order, including Fr. Paul Patrick, the Pastor for St Gabriel's Parish. Even though this event was held on Victoria Day long weekend, the turnout and the interest was very inspiring. It was also one of the first official occasions to display our new travelling icon. Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyAs summer approaches interest in the Knights of Columbus in Ontario seems to be growing in leaps and bounds. On May 23, for example, another Exemplification took place for seven new members in the Ottawa area. Council #9557; Council #17476; Council #16005 and Council #17725 all had members that were Exemplified. Congratulations to the Exemplification team and to the new regular members in the Order.

This past weekend, as his two-year term comes to a close, he revisited Sault Ste Marie to help them with a couple of Church drives.

There were approximately 25 members in attendance who witnessed an exemplification which saw 5 new members join the Council 755. This brings their intake for this fraternal year to 33 new members. With each new Exemplification, the title of Circle of Honour is becoming increasingly within reach for the province. Well done team!.
