Accepting the cheque on behalf of the Food Bank were Bailey Armitage, Community Events Coordinator and Trish Marinoni, Partnership Manager. On hand for the presentation were Grand Knight Brian Schmalz, Deputy Grand Knight Dave Obermeyer and Shred-It Event coordinator Brother Peter Penlington.

Submitted by SK Patrick Rusheleau, PGK/PFN - Communications DirectorOn Thursday, June 16th representatives of Resurrection of Our Lord Council 13701 presented 1st place trophies, as well as 2nd and 3rd place medals to the winners of the council's 2016 Soccer Challenge program which was held on the schools soccer field on Tuesday, May 10th in which 85 of the elementary school's students participated. Submitted by Paul O'Neill, Grand KnightAltar Servers from St. Mary and St. Clement Churches, Cambridge were presented with miniature "Homeless Jesus" sculptures by Council 4916 follow ing their being honoured by the Serra Club Bishop Ustrrzyki is with the St. Mary recipients at the awards ceremony while Fr. Peter presented the sculptures at St. Clement Church.
Submitted by Juliano Brusadin, FDDDistrict Deputy Derek West of District #14 participated in the Special Olympics flag raising ceremonies at St. Patrick High School, Thunder Bay City Hall and St. Ignatius High School. The flag was signed by many at all three locations.
