Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center: "The Canada Years" Wed., March 24, 2021 | 7:00 p.m. EDT Michael McGivney attended two seminaries in Canada: StHyacinthe (1868-1870) and Sainte-Marie (1872-1873). These formation years not only prepared him for the priesthood but contributed to his personal and spiritual development as well. Knights of Columbus Supreme Director Dennis Duchesne lives in the region where Father McGivney studied. He’ll reflect on the history of the Church in the area and share insights on the experiences of the Knights of Columbus’ founder during his time in Canada. Register for "The Canada Years" Now

Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center: The Cause Begins Wed., April 7, 2021 | 7:00 p.m. EDT Father Michael McGivney died August 14, 1890, at age 38. His cause for sainthood opened more than a century later, December 18, 1997. Dominican Father Gabriel O’Donnell was the initial postulator of the cause and authored the official position supporting sainthood for Father McGivney. Father O’Donnell, who serves now as a vice postulator and director of the McGivney Guild, will recall his research efforts to introduce the cause and reflect on the October 31, 2020, beatification.
