Sixteen candidates became brother Knights at St. Aidan's Church in Scarborough that night. Well done to Wilfred Gomez and his Exemplification team.

"FOOD FOR FAMILY'S" Pictured left to right Ron Cambridge Community Director, Grand Knight Roland Besner and Norm's kind lady. We support two parishes in our community and this year we decided to contact the Pastors to recommend each three familes in need. Our Council budgeted $ 1,500.00 on this program. This program has taught us of the great need that is out there in supporting families.

Along with the Knights, St. Nicholas handed out Candy "J" Canes to the over 80 attendees of the breakfast. Jesus is the the Reason for the Season. Submitted by Bruce S. Poulin, State DeputyCouncil 485Council 485 held its annual blessing of the Crèche in front of St. Patrick's Basilica in Ottawa on December 11th. A tradition dating back over 10 years, Council Chaplain Fr. Michael Nwadinobi led council members, wives, and parishioners in a procession around the church while members of the parish choir sang traditional advent and Christmas hymns. After the event, everyone got to enjoy a delicious potluck dinner and Christmas cookies celebrating the end of a great year, while looking forward to the council's 125th anniversary in January.

It was the first time they had had a visit from a State Deputy and they were pleased to have him help mark this important milestone. While at the event our State Deputy also recruited two more people into the Knights.What a great way to celebrate an anniversary by enrolling two new members to the Order

This year, we have had the privilege of assisting with the placement of the Angel Trees at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, ensuring they are beautifully displayed in both the International and Domestic lounges, as well as the publicly accessible mainland pavilion. The Angel Trees, adorned with over 900 acrylic angels, each represent a survivor of human trafficking supported by the Concord Adex Survivors Fund since 2021. For a donation of $20, [...]

This memorable occasion was filled with joy and camaraderie, providing a wonderful opportunity for brothers, wives, and family members to come together, share, and enjoy the festivities.
