Submitted by GK Yolando FernandesSt. Barnabas ParishMembers of Council 13785 held a Spiritual Reflection-Advent Retreat, on Saturday 25th November 2023 after the 9.00 am mass in the Parish Hall, officiated by our Worthy Chaplain Fr. Fraser McLaren. After group discussions, the men were lead to the church for Adoration and Confession and later ended with another spiritual speech by Fr. Fraser. 120th anniversary

Submitted by Roland Besnerontario council 755Celebrating our council 120th anniversary on November 25th with a very special guest State Deputy Bruce Poulin and 3 other state board members. we had 180 people in attendance. The event started with a mass in St Peters church and followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing. The following day another mass followed with an exemplification with special guests State Deputy Bruce Poulin and Earle De Pass State Board member as part of the team.

Wattson Council 8919 conducted an in-person degree, inducting 5 candidates into three different Councils. Fr. Paul J.F. Wattson welcomed Brothers Nishant John and James Gillis, Windsor Most Precious Blood Council 1412 welcomed Brothers David Booker and Joe Gervais, and Mother Teresa Council 12494 welcomed Brother Nilo Colussi. Congratulations to each of these fine gentlemen who are eager to help each of their respective Councils moving forward.

Goodfellows Paper Drive

Submitted by Dan PergolesiFr. Paul J.F. WattsonOn Thursday November 23rd and Friday November 24th, members of Fr. Paul J.F. Wattson Council 8919 and St. John Vianney Council 9528 volunteered their time to help collect donations and distribute papers on behalf of Goodfellows of Windsor. Members staffed various store fronts on the east end of the city, in two separate shifts, 5:00 to 7:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 both days. Donations collected $5679.70, with an additional $1500 donated between the two Councils. Total returned to Goodfellows: $ 6179.70.
