Submitted by David Andrighetti, Grand Knight St. Joseph the Worker Council 1652 On Sunday January 22.2023, Hennepin Council 1652 hosted its annual Basketball Free throw Competition at St Michael's High School. 40 boys and 40 girls from nine local schools participated. This was a fantastic event and I wish all participants luck in the future tournaments. The Special Mass was officiated by our Worthy Chaplain Fr. Fraser McLaren on Friday 30th December 2022 at 7.00pm at St. Barnabas Parish. Submitted by Nicholas Quadrini St. Mark Parish Council St. Mark Parish Council 10874 recently held our annual Coats for Kids drive to support needy children in and around the Stouffville area to stay warm during the winter season. Thanks to the generous support of St. Mark Parishioners, the council raised $3,350 and donated just over 100 coats to local schools and charitable organizations in Stouffville and York Region.
