Submitted by Brother Hikmat Dandan Jesus the King The Fathers’ Day Picnic of Jesus the king Melkite Catholic Church is a beautiful occasion that no body from the parishioners miss. It was organized by the church on Sunday June 16th at Bruce Mills Picnic site in Stouffville. Jesus the King Council 15045 sponsored the rental of the three areas at Spruce Tree 1, 2, and 3. Holy Hour Fatima Devotion

Submitted by GK Yolando FernandesSt. Barnabas CouncilMembers of the Knights of Columbus council 13785 along with their families participated in the Holy Hour Fatima Devotion on Thursday 13th June 2024 with holy mass at 7pm, followed by procession and Holy Eucharistic Adoration thereafter. Holy Mass was officiated by our Worthy Chaplin Fr. Fraser McLaren. Thanks to the Honor Guards that graced the occasion. As usual there were approx 250 parishioners in attendance. Thanks to all brother knights and their families that came together in harmony to celebrate our monthly Fatima Devotion.

A.S.A.P. Baby Shower Drive

Submitted by Leo Mayer St. Benedict's Knights of Columbus Once again the 5 Knights of Columbus councils of District 61 in Sarnia-Bright’s Grove put their faith in action by conducting a “Baby Shower” drive in support of The Pregnancy Options & Support Centre in Sarnia Ontario. The Knights accumulated over 100 needed baby items along with Walmart gift cards, monetary and Council donations. The total amount is still being calculated. Submitted by Brother Hikmat Dandan Jesus the King ONTARIO COUNCILS SUPPORT ORPHANS In 1882, Blessed Father Michael McGivney, founded the Knights of Columbus to protect the widows and orphans and to provide spiritual support for Catholic men. Orphans for Jesus is the unique initiative in the Knights of Columbus that is fulfilling the vision of Blessed Father Michael McGivney. Orphans for Jesus features eight orphanages in Poland, Lebanon, in the Holy Land and other countries. So, on February 20th, Peterborough Special Olympics organized a surprise dinner for Ron and his wife Karen. Representatives from the Knights of Columbus were invited to participate in recognizing Ron’s contributions to Special Olympics locally, nationally and internationally over the years.
