On Thursday August 13th, 2026, the Feast Day of Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney a special service was held at the McGivney site located at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Windsor, On.
A service was held inside the St. Francis Mausoleum, presided by Fr. Gary Goyeau.
Greetings were presented by State Warden Donny Thivierge, Linda Rochon Perrone (HR Cemetery) and Master Paul Johnston. Eighteen Honour Guard members from various local Assemblies attended, including former Masters Reg Campbell and Gord Edwards. In addition, 18 Knight representatives from local Councils attended with family members.
Following the service all processed out of the mausoleum to the McGivney site where Fr. Goyeau provided a blessing of the site and closing prayer.
This annual event was planned and conducted by the McGivney Sterring Committee of the London West Diocesan Association.
