On June 28th, Council 8192 in Elmira, gathered to celebrate a special mass honouring the 75th anniversary of the ordination of their council’s namesake, Father Hugh MacKinnon (1919-1981). The mass was also held to honour the deceased members of the council, recognizing their faithful service and lasting contributions.

Father MacKinnon was known for championing the values of hard work, preparation, and determination—principles that continue to inspire and guide the spirit of Council #8192 today.
