Blessed Frederic Ozanam

Many thanks to all who participated in this year’s Food for Families program, the Knights of Columbus Blessed Frederic Ozanam Council 17065 received over 2,500 lbs of non-perishable food items and $795 in cash. Launched eight years ago, the council has been conducting this food drive yearly during the Lenten Season. The principal beneficiaries of this year’s campaign were the Markham Food Bank and the Cornerstone Pantry, both in Markham.

The continuing success of this program is a testament not only to the commitment of the Knights to help those in need, but also to the kindness and generosity of those supporting it, especially the parishioners of Blessed Frederic Ozanam parish.
