Members of St. Patrick Basilica Council 485 presented the Ottawa Catholic School Board with 624 coats as part of the council's Coats for Kids campaign. Last year, the council raised almost $10,000 (through the generosity of St. Patrick's Basilica Parishioners) to purchase the coats, and also took advantage of the Buy One Get One Free offer from the Supreme Council to double their coat purchase.

With such a generous response from parishioners, the Council managed to overwhelm to capacity for the Ottawa Catholic School Board to sort, distribute and deliver the coats from their own facility. Fortunately Blessed Sacrament Parish stepped up to help handle the sorting and distribution.

Congratulations to Council 485 on this amazing achievement!
