The first time a Columbian Squires was held at the same time and place as the annual state Convention was in 1948. As part of our 125th anniversary of the Knights in Ontario and the 100th anniversary of the Columbian Squires, our State Deputy wanted to re-acquaint our respective organizations with this legacy of cooperation and fraternity. As an added benefit, 14 Squires who were 18 years of age agreed to mark the occasion by being exemplified during their convention in Ottawa. Special certificates were made and a first rate exemplification team was on hand as well as our State Deputy for the ceremony. Welcome to our Order former Squires!
