Seven hours and four church drives later, the recruiting team from Council #10619 in Mississauga saw a final count of 17 prospects on April 6. By way of comparison, the last fraternal year, the members of this Council had recruited five members and missed their Star Council award by one new member.

The difference this year was that this Council’s recruiting efforts were supported by the senior leadership in accordance with our State Deputy’s Monthly Membership Growth Calendar action plan. In fact, this was also the first time in the Council’s history that a State Deputy had taken part in one of their church drives. The lesson learned here is that the dream works when the team works.
