For the first time in their history, members of Assembly 4004 in Panama were visited by a State Deputy and a District Deputy. The occasion for the visit was an exemplification of 43 New Panamanian Sir Knights.

Assembly 4004 was the only Assembly in Panama when it was made inactive following the American military withdrawal from Panama on December 31, 1999 and most Sir Knights returned to the U.S. It was only resurrected by Sir Knights from the Fourth Degree from Ontario on May 25, 2024 and its members were formally exemplified on March 15, 2025 by our State Deputy and by Sir Knight Francisco Naar.

This exemplification coincided with our State Deputy’s visit to Panama with our Wheelchair Chairman to deliver some 280 wheelchairs – therefore there were no costs to the State Council associated with this event. But it was nevertheless very much appreciated by the new Sir Knights and their renewed Assembly. We wish our Sir Knights in Panama much success.
