On Sunday November 3, 2024, State Treasurer Joe Bodnar, welcomed Aydan Pacheco to the Knights of Columbus St. Joseph the Worker Council 9989 in Oshawa.

It was a special event as Aydan joined the S.K. Leonard T. Smith Squires Circle 4742 eight years ago holding many different executive positions including Chief Squire before graduating from the program. Acting as one of the Circles Squire Counselors, Joe had the opportunity to watch a young 10 year old boy mature over an eight year period to become a young man and true leader. Council 9989 looks forward to Aiydans leadership experience now that he has joined the Order.
