On Saturday November 11, 2023 Counsellors and Squires from the S.K. Leonard T. Smith Squire Circle 4742 gathered to march in the City of Oshawa Remembrance Day parade to remember the men and women who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Since its Charter in 2001 the Circle has attended the parade each year carrying the wreaths from the Knights of District 36 and 37. Two former Squires, Craig Zealand (3rd from left)and Owen Kay (3rd from right), who are now members of the Knights of Columbus and counselors, have attended the parade yearly since they joined this Squire Circle.
