The St Lawrence Martyr Council 13417 in Scarborough collected 1,010 lbs of non-perishable food items and donated it to the Agincourt Community Services Association (ACSA) Food Bank. A thank you letter was received.
The last time the Council collected Food for Families was in 2018, just before COVID.
This year 2023, some adjustments were necessary; only two bins were placed at the entrance of the church; Brother Knights and families arranged for 8 deliveries during the four-week period of collection.
