Parish Retreat: The Divinity and Humanity of Christ on the Cross

On March 21, 2026 Maharlika Council held a lenten retreat for the parishioners of St. Boniface Church in Scarborough. Starting with a Mass at 8:30 a.m. the retreat went on until noon, well attended by about 80 parishioners.

Traditionally the council presented the "Seven Last Words of Jesus on the Cross” n program. This year, the reflections explored the humanity and divinity of Christ in those words. The feedback from all participants were positive and encouraging, with many pointing to the focus on Christ's personality a refreshing retreat experience.
