//Daily Rosary – 1st to 31st October, 2019

St. Bernard Council

The month of October, each year, is dedicated to the most Holy Rosary. This is primarily because the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is celebrated annually on October 7th. This feast was instituted, by Pope St. Pius V in the year 1571 to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the Rosary by the faithful. Let us consider this beautiful prayer of the Rosary to draw closer to Jesus and Mary, pray for all our personal intentions, and for peace in the world by meditating on the great mysteries of our salvation.

Last year, The Holy Father Pope Francis invited all the faithful, of all the world, to pray the Holy Rosary every day, during the entire Marian month of October, and thus to join in communion and in penitence, as the people of God, in asking the Holy Mother of God and Saint Michael Archangel to protect the Church from the devil, who always seeks to separate us from God and from each other.

As part of their spiritual activities, the Knights of Columbus, for the first time, has taken the initiative and invites all parishioners, families and friends to come and pray a Holy Rosary every day during the entire month of October and obtain the blessings promised by our Lady.

The Rosary will be led by Knights of Columbus as per the following schedule:
Mondays: at 7:00 pm,
Tuesdays: at 7:00 pm,
Wednesdays: at 7:00 pm,
Thursdays: at 6:15 pm before the Holy Adoration
Fridays: at 7:00 pm
Saturdays: at 4:30 before the 5:00 pm Sunday Mass (by CWL)
Sundays: at 8:40 am before the 9:00 am Sunday Mass &
