The Knights of Columbus collaborated with St. Vincent de Paul to collect food for families. 1,800 pounds of produce was collected over the weekend of September 26-27. Bags of produce were delivered directly to 12 families in the local community and St. Francis Table took a truck load to cook and serve fresh to the homeless people in downtown Toronto.The Knights provided the boxes and manpower to collect and move the donated food. Bags of food were also available for purchase by parishioners if they were unable to bring a bag of food themselves and wanted to contribute. A total of $1,325.00 in monetary donations was collected.
