The Knights of Columbus in Ontario recognizes the importance of Post-Secondary School education so the Ontario State Chaplains Bursary program was established to award to 5 successful applicants each year a Bursary of $1,000.00 each. This program is available for YOUTH and ADULTS.

Veterans' House Canada

Veterans’ House Cenotaph Project Campaign

Canada’s veterans are seeking our support for the erection of a cenotaph at Veterans’ House Ottawa located in the city’s downtown core. This cenotaph will allow the tenants, regardless of creed, gender, race or ethnicity, to find spiritual comfort and opportunities to commemorate their legacy. The Knights of Columbus in Ontario have a proud legacy of supporting our military during wartime through the Canadian Catholic Army Huts during the Great War, the Canadian Army Huts during the Second World War and now, during peacetime, with the cenotaph at a veterans’ homeless shelter in Ottawa.

Columbian Squires

The Columbian Squires is the official youth organization of the Knights of Columbus. Squires is dedicated to promoting service and the Catholic faith – while providing opportunities for fun and leadership training to young Catholic men throughout the world. As an organization of more than 1300 circles with nearly 25,000 Catholic youth members, the Columbian Squires is making a difference in the world and in the Church.

Free Throw / Soccer / Hockey Challenge

The Free Throw Championship and Soccer Challenge is a great way to generate interest and introduce the Order to your local community. It provides youth with a rewarding activity, as winners are provided with a chance to compete at the council, district, regional and State level.

The Knights of Columbus sponsors the Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest to encourage today’s youth to be more connected to their community and their faith. The goal of this program is to involve young Catholics in 8th through 12th grade (public, private, parochial or home schools) in civic discourse and instill in them religious and life-affirming values.
