Submitted by Jim Cummings Fr. Granottier On April 16th Council 2092 had a special "Donation Day" at the Owen Sound Columbus Centre . Cheques were presented to The Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce ( $15,000), The Owen Sound and Area-Special Olympics ($6,000), Families for Autism Grey-Bruce ($4.000) and The Grey-Bruce Pregnancy Centre ($4,000) which represented monies raised from the popular K of C 2092 / 560 CFOS Radio Bingo, Also donations were presented on behalf of our 26 retail sales outlets who generously donated back their commission dollars in the amount of close to $8,000 to the above charities .. Granottier Council 2092 Owen Sound members, PGK Jim Cummings, PGK Bruce Muise and Chancellor Randy Gaudet recently attended a 5 pin bowling session of The Owen Sound and Area Special Olympics and presented a cheque in the amount of $5,000 ( proceeds from Radio Bingo ) which is aired weekly on local radio station CFOS since March 2021 . To date K of C/ 560 CFOS 560 Radio Bingo has raised over $90.000 for Grey-Bruce charities including: Canadian Mental Health Association Youth Programs , Special Olympics , Families for Autism and Grey Bruce Pregnancy Centre

On February 14th, the Owen Sound Knights of Columbus Ontario Council 2092 presented a cheque for $25,000 to CMHA Grey Bruce Youth Awareness programs. Granottier Council 2092 have raised over $40k for charity through 2021, after launching a radio bingo fundraising campaign that has spread to numerous communities in Grey County over the course of the past year. Grey Highlands council approved the organization's request to continue selling bingo tickets in the municipality on Jan. 5.
