Campaign Life Coalition was instrumental in bringing this life-saving campaign to Canada over a decade ago, and since then, tens of thousands of Canadians have prayed and fasted for an end to abortion in more than 20 cities across the country.

Right to life groups, church groups, and individual pro-life volunteers have answered the call to organize campaigns in their own communities and that’s exactly what’s happening in our own hometown starting March 2, 2022.

Since 2007, this campaign has saved a recorded 20,728 lives around the globe!

The organization of Hamilton’s first 40 Days for Life 2022 campaign is pioneered by former McMaster Lifeline President (McMaster University pro-life club), Ana Maria Rivera. Together with a committee of dedicated Hamiltonians, I will be working with Ana to mobilize as many prayer volunteers to participate in this year’s prayer vigil.

If you aren’t already familiar with the campaign, 40 Days for Lifeis a peaceful and prayerful pro-life vigil for an end to abortion. The campaign runs for 40 days straight, from 7am-7pm, beginning on March 2 until April 10, 2022. More than a dozen vigils will be taking place across Canada.

If you are interested in becoming a prayer volunteer, please sign up for vigil hours by visiting our website. You can also sign up as a group! In fact, if you belong to a church community, please ask your pastor to ‘adopt a day’.

Speaking of churches, we are also searching for church contacts.
