VIRTUAL March for LIFE week in Ontario

starting on May 10 , 2020

Dear Brothers:Sunday night marked the beginning of the National March for Life virtual event with the showing of the film – Strings Attached.

I received many emails questioning how to access the National March for Life online. All of the National March for Life events are listed on the March for Life website at: MARCH FOR LIFE ONLINE SCHEDULE EVENTS and all of the events are streamed live at: www.marchforlife.ca

The virtual National March for Life mass will be online on Thursday May 14 at 12 noon (ET) featuring celebrant Archbishop Terrence Prendergast.

The virtual National March for Life will have interviews on EWTN on May 14 from 1 pm – 2:30 pm and then continue with interviews and information on the March for Life website from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on the same day. There will also be a Pro-life youth webinar on Friday May 15 from 12:30 – 3:00 pm (ET).

This year there will be a March for Life Pro-Life film festival.

On Monday May 11 at 8 pm (ET) the films Crescendo and Sing a Little Louder will be streamed including an interview with film producer Jason Jones.

On Tuesday May 12 at 8 pm (ET) the film – Fatal Flaws – including an interview with Brother Alex Schadenberg, co-producer of the film, will be streaming online. Fatal Flaws features stories about the experience with euthanasia and assisted suicide in the Netherlands, Canada and the US. Alex is the Life Director for the Ontario State Council.

Every council that promotes and participates the virtual National March for Life can submit it as a completed program in 2020.

Please remember the importance of the Leave no Neighbor behind program. This is an important program during the Covid-19 crisis and it demonstrates our pro-life commitment.

The virtual National March for Life provides an opportunity for every Knights of Columbus council and member to participate and learn about the challenges related to the Sanctity of Human Life in Canada.
