It’s a pivotal moment in Christian tradition\, as it begins the journey toward the birth of Christ and the salvation of humanity. \nThis feast day is often associated with a deep sense of humility and obedience to God\, as Mary accepted the call to be the Mother of God with great faith. The Annunciation is also significant because it highlights the mystery of the Incarnation—God becoming man in the person of Jesus Christ. It’s also a day to reflect on Mary’s “yes” to God\, her openness to His will\, and her role in salvation history. \nWill your council be observing the Annunciation in any particular way this year\, perhaps with a special prayer or activity? \n
