DESCRIPTION:\nBlessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center: The Cause Begins \n\n\nWed.\, April 7\, 2021 | 7:00 p.m. EDT \n\n\nFather Michael McGivney died August 14\, 1890\, at age 38. His cause for sainthood opened more than a century later\, December 18\, 1997. Dominican Father Gabriel O’Donnell was the initial postulator of the cause and authored the official position supporting sainthood for Father McGivney. Father O’Donnell\, who serves now as a vice postulator and director of the McGivney Guild\, will recall his research efforts to introduce the cause and reflect on the October 31\, 2020\, beatification. \n\nTo register\, please click here. \n
