Submitted by Eardley Adams Blessed Frederic Ozanam Parish Markham, Council 17065 April 2nd and 3rd, 2022 was set aside for the Wheelchair Fundraiser, we borrowed an official KofC wheelchair from State to help the congregation visualize what they were contributing towards. Placard's, posters, flyers and other hand-out materials were available including pins which were presented to everyone that made a donation. We had never run with this program before which was an additional challenge being a new and very small parish compounded by the difficulty presented by the pandemic we really had to set our sights low 2 may be 3 [...]

Weekly Friday "Knight" Zoom Rosary

Submitted by Andrew Kokelj St Paul the Apostle Alliston ON, Council 9352 We have hosted a weekly zoom rosary available to anyone with a link to join or just listen every week including holidays since November 19, 2020. Link is on our parish and council website, and in our email signature. Regular participants have attended from near and as far away as Newfoundland and New Brunswick. Our rosary prayers and intentions have given comfort and help in healing to many, including one of our Brother Knights Bruce McCallum. He is recovering from Covid-19 after spending over 17 days on a ventilator.

Submitted by Gino Di PedeAve MariaThe St. Joseph Pilgrim Prayer Icon was received at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish served by Ave Maria Council 9494 in Scarborough, Ontario, on April 1st where it remained for veneration until April 7th. On the last day, a Mass was celebrated in honour of St. Joseph by council Chaplain, Fr. Ronald Generao. Following Mass, the Rosary was recited with reflections from the Icon booklet lead by members of our council family. Submitted by Eardley AdamsSt John Paul IISt John Paul II Assembly 3325 performed a limited Honor Guard for the St Patrick's Day evening Mass at St Patrick's Parish Church in Markham. Although the Assembly was limited in its Uniform it was the first Honor Guard at the Church in a very long time. We all had an opportunity to meet with the Cardinal and Clergy after Mass for a brief photo opp. See photo below.

Wheelchairs to Panama

Submitted by Marcel Lemmen, State Deputy KofC Ontario State Council Knights of Columbus Councils and Donors in Ontario raised money to send a container of 290 wheelchairs to help the disabled in Panama. Wheelchairs were delivered to a Senior's Home, Rehabilitation Centre, Cancer Clinic and Children's Hospital as well as to individuals who needed them. Here are a few pictures from a very busy trip.

Submitted by Kevin QuinnGranottierBeginning on Ash Wednesday and running through Lent, parishioners were asked to join the Knights of Granottier Council 2092 and Assembly 3432 in donating food items or cash for each day of Lent. With the cooperation of local Catholc Schools a total of 5 080 pounds of food was gathered for the Catholic Charities food bank in Owen Sound. This food will be shared with area food banks in Meaford, Wiarton and Neyaaashiniimiig FN. And used to meet the emergency food needs od parishioners and people approaching the Church office for help. On February 14th, the Owen Sound Knights of Columbus Ontario Council 2092 presented a cheque for $25,000 to CMHA Grey Bruce Youth Awareness programs. The donation was a result of proceeds from the immensely successful Radio Bingo, a partnership program between Bayshore Broadcasting and the Knights of Columbus.
